Worcester and Hereford Ladies County Golf Association were delighted to host this year’s Midlands South Junior Girls Championships at Gaudet Luce Golf Club.

“Girls took part from six counties, Berks; Bucks; Oxon; Warks; Northants; and W&H. The event is on the England Golf calendar so there were some elite golfers taking part. The weather was kind and there was some excellent golf played.

Grace Bowen from The Worcestershire won the overall Best Gross and the U15 Best Gross over 36 holes.

Gaudet Luce girls featured in the prize winners with Sydney Blanchenot taking 2^nd place in the 18 hole Handicap Championship; Sydney and Emily Nattrass, with Katie Rolph, from Redditch, won the Stableford Team Prize.

Thanks must go to the Gaudet Ladies, Lynda, Sandra, Carys, and Kerry who volunteered to help on the day; and to our Club Captain, Bill, who came along to present the prizes.
