The Annual General Meeting of the Gaudet Luce Golf Club took place in the clubhouse on Friday 26^th January, and both the Club Chair Bill Clifford, and Club Captain Chris Hobbs reflected on a very successful golfing, social, and charity fundraising year. The Captain thanked all members for their exceptional support through the year and was able to advise that members had raised £23,000 for the Captains’ charity. A cheque for this sum was handed over to Dementia UK representative, Anna McNee, who expressed amazement at the size of the donation and told members about how the funds would be used in the region to help sufferers and their families.  She asked that her thanks be passed to members.
